Sustainable management of urban aquifers

SMITH, Martin and WALTERS, Polly and David-Durand, Melanie (2025) Sustainable management of urban aquifers. [Data Collection]

Project Description

Road drainage has the potential to carry a range of environmental contaminants, and in Brighton often is managed by allowing to soak away to the Chalk aquifer. A sustainable drainage system (SuDS) is planned to manage road drainage water in the urban catchment around Wild Park, Brighton. These data are from a baseline study undertaken to characterise the underlying aquifer geology around the proposed SuDS site, particularly to identify karst features.
