Wyche, Kevin and Smallbone, Kirsty (2021) Joint Air Quality Initiative (JOAQUIN). [Data Collection]
Project Description
"The project translated the science of new and emerging health relevant pollutants (UFP, EC) into practice. We obtained data and information on the current local and regional situations and improved the collective understanding of air pollution and its impact on citizens’ health. This resulted in truly health relevant information that is crucial to increase the capacity of air quality experts, authorities and public health professionals in order to facilitate and provide the motivation for better air quality policies. For your convenience we created several general reports with our scientific findings on ultrafine particles (UFP) in NW Europe, the chemical composition of particulate matter across NW Europe and a case study on the genotoxic effects of particulate matter."
